City Harvest London was founded in 2014, by a small group of individuals who were aware that in one of the wealthiest cities in the world, there is also acute hunger. The founders also became aware that there was no transportation network to get the abundance of surplus food to the hungry. City Harvest decided to connect the available food with those Londoners who desperately need it. Most of their professional team provides their time pro bono.
