Certified B. Corporation
B Corp Certification is the only certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. The B Impact Assessment evaluates how your company’s operations and business model impact your workers, community, environment, and customers. it gives you access to support tools.
The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a premium management instrument developed by the European Commission for companies and other organisations to evaluate, report, and improve their environmental performance. EMAS is open to every type of organisation eager to improve its environmental performance. It spans all economic and service sectors and is applicable worldwide.
The EU Ecolabel for Tourist Accommodation provides efficient guidelines for hotels and camping sites looking to lower their environmental impact while offering enough flexibility to allow proper guest satisfaction. This is valid only in Europe (widespread in France, Italy, Spain, Austria).
EarthCheck is the world’s leading environmental certification and benchmarking program for the travel and tourism industry, used in over 70 countries. EarthCheck is science-focused, offering access to multiple support tools and over 32 standards. It is using a GSTC Recognised Standard.
Events Industry Council
The Events Industry Council Sustainable Event Standards assess events and industry suppliers on a wide range of sustainability criteria in support of environmental and social responsibility. They replace the former APEX/ASTM Environmentally Sustainable Meeting Standards and are specifically designed for the Events Industry.
Becoming FSC certified shows that you comply with the highest social and environmental standards on the market. Public concern about the state of the world’s forests and timber resources is increasing, and FSC provides you with a credible solution to complex environmental and social issues.
Food Made Good Awards
The Food Made Good Awards is the platform we use to reward the bravest businesses, celebrate success stories, inspire collaboration and call for ongoing change.
Since 2012, the Food Made Good Awards have been the shop window for pioneering sustainability progress in the hospitality industry, and a celebration of successful initiatives and innovative ideas.
The awards honour the chefs, owners, managers and producers from businesses at the forefront of creating positive change across foodservice, the whole supply sector, and the wider food system.
Green Destinations works with over 200 destinations on both an awards and certification programme. The certification features over 100 criteria, and is independently verified and GSTC accredited.
Green Key is a voluntary eco-label awarded to more than 3,200 hotels and other tourism establishments in 65 countries. It is a leading global standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry. Please note: Green Key is a different organisation to Green Key Global.

Green Key Global is a leading environmental certification body that offers standardized programs and resources, designed specifically for hotels and lodging facilities, and event facilities. Current participation includes over 1600 hotels and 350 venues in 20 countries. Green Key Global is particularly strong in North America.
Green Mark provides an affordable option to organisations of any size wishing to demonstrate their commitment to environmental sustainability.

ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities
in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability. It helps an organization achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental management system, which provide value for the environment, the organization itself and interested parties.
ISO 20121:2012 specifies requirements for an event sustainability management system for any type of event or event-related activity, and provides guidance on conforming to those requirements.
Social Enterprise UK
Social Enterprise are the membership body for social enterprise and the biggest network of social enterprises in the UK.
They are a strategic partner to 6 government departments and have led public policy on social enterprise for 15 years but also working with some of the biggest companies in the UK to support social enterprise through their supply chains, people and networks.

The Sustainable City Awards are a national "green business" awards scheme administered by the City of London Corporation. They aim to "recognise and reward best practice in environmental management and sustainable leadership" across twelve categories.
The Blue Patch Awards
Blue Patch is a collaborative business network founded in 2014 as an ethical collective with a focus on products made or manufactured in the UK and Ireland.
They started the Blue Patch Sustainable Business awards in 2016 as a way to recognise high quality design and genuine, innovative, sustainable approaches to ethical business.
In the 5th year now, these awards champion outstanding small brands and SMEs, support the local economy and promote sustainable businesses across the UK and Ireland.
The Green Apple Award
The Green Apple Environment Awards is the annual international campaigns to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. The Green Apple Environment Awards were launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation and have become well established as one of the most popular environmental campaigns in the world.
They have now extended into the Green World Awards – the biggest environmental awards campaign on Earth, with entries from Governments, Ministries and Regional Authorities as well as companies, organisations, communities, etc. across the entire private and public sectors.
The Green Globe
The Green Globe certification is a structured assessment of the sustainability performance of travel and tourism businesses and their supply chain partners. Green Globe is using a GSTC Recognized Standard.
The Travelife certification programme provides a state of the art and affordable certification standard to evaluate, prove and communicate sustainability achievements. Travelife integrates criteria and approaches from GSTC, ISO14001, ISO26000 and GRI
TourCert has developed its own internationally recognised consultancy and certification system for the tourism sector. TourCert integrates criteria from the GSTC destinations standard.
